Post subject: ATI x850 Frame rate when from 40-60 to 5-20 in world of warcraft.
Archived from groups: alt>comp>periphs>videocards>ati (more info?)
I don't know if they changed their game or it was a newer driver
installed on my side. Either way I'm getting 5 FPS while playing WOW.
GRRR.

Anyone got any ideas?

Yes i have the lastest drivers.

Custom built
3.4 Intel w/2 gig ram
1.2TB HD
Watercooled CPU/GPU system
GPU runs at 43d CPU at 45d-51d
Windows XP SP2
latest DirectX 9.0c (I think)
lastest ATI drivers as well.

The first few days I was getting 40 to 70 FPS in town. The last month I
been getting only 20 to 30 max. Raiding is a pain at 5FPS! Something is
wrong and I'm thinking it the game not the card. But I maybe someone
has had this issue with WOW and knows what to do.

Can you play World of Warcraft reasonably well with 1350? - Will WOW play reasonably well on the x1350? I'm hoping to wait until June before buying a nice DX10 card so I'm looking for the minimal card to get by until then. Anyone using this card?
